Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andy Crow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Romo Diaz! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crow lands with a nice combination. Diaz backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Romo Diaz has been cut. Crow throws a one two combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Crow throws a head kick that misses. Diaz shoots in and gets a takedown into Crow's guard. Diaz is pushing down on Crow's leg trying to pass to half guard. Crow is fighting to maintain full guard but Diaz has managed to sneak the leg through. Diaz prevents Crow from standing back up.

Romo Diaz has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Diaz throws a series of punches but Crow moves out of range. Diaz gets a double leg takedown into Crow's guard. Diaz advances position into side control! Crow takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Crow is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Diaz is controlling him well. Diaz in side control lands a decent elbow.
Crow is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Diaz looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Diaz cracks Crow with an elbow. That is naaassty.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Crow has escaped the position, nice work there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crow taking a bit of punishment here - Diaz scoring with strikes. Oh Crow is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Diaz controls the position. Crow seems to have got his legs back now. Let's hope that Diaz has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Diaz lands a huge shot from side control! Crow is out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Romo Diaz! A relieved looking Romo Diaz thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
