The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cudi throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Gun shoots in and bounces Cudi off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Gun shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gun was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Gun changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cudi tries to avoid it but Gun manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cudi to the ground. Cudi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gun fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cudi avoids it really well and circles away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Cudi tries to bum rush Gun with a series of wild strikes but Gun uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gun with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cudi to score with a decent uppercut.

Cudi sizes up Gun with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Cudi takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Cudi lands a big right hand that sends Gun crashing to the mat! Cudi stays standing though and waves Gun back to his feet!
Oh Gun is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Cudi drops Gun with a big left hand! Gun is injured, injured bad! Cudi jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
