Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rainbow Bright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitch Mitchel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bright looks for a takedown but Mitchel sprawls well.
Bright takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bright.
Bright shoots in looking for a takedown but Mitchel manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bright's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Bright shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mitchel sprawls well. Mitchel wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bright gets slowly back to his feet.

Bright's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mitchel connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bright scrambles back to his feet.

Bright takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Mitchel scores with a hook to the body. Bright takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Mitchel lands a jab to the head.

Mitchel lands with a nice body punch.
Mitchel stuns Bright with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bright shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mitchel defends it nicely.
Bright really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Mitchel fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Mitchel darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Mitchel fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bright looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bright doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Bright takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Bright tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mitchel swivels and escapes.
A jab from Mitchel does it's job there.
Nice uppercut lands for Mitchel. That snapped Bright's head back.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Bright. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Mitchel looks to land a combination. Bright sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Mitchel keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mitchel is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bright had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Nice jab there from Mitchel.
Mitchel stalks Bright and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bright's face. Bright staggers backwards, shaken.
Bright looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mitchel is fending him off so far but Bright persists. Nope, Mitchel circles away and we're back to standing.
Bright gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Bright shoots in but no luck this time.

Mitchel scores with a jab to the head.
Mitchel keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Bright throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mitchel's waist but Mitchel gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bright off to one side.
Bright shoots in for a takedown but Mitchel shows good takedown defense.
Mitchel connects with a body shot that sends Bright's belly button to the back.
Mitchel throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Bright takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Mitchel wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Mitchel lands with a good body shot.
Mitchel fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Mitchel digs a good hook to Bright's body.
Mitchel lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Mitchel comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A lazy left from Mitchel finds it's target.
Mitchel lands a nice shot that snaps Bright's head back.
Mitch Mitchel is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mitchel jabs at Bright's body.
Bright drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Mitchel takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Bright is rocked!

Bright takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Oh Bright is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bright has a takedown stuffed.

Bright gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Mitchel gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Bright is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mitch Mitchel!
