Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heidan Warren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Heidan Warren!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warren's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Diaz connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Warren scrambles back to his feet.
Diaz throws a nice outside leg kick.

Warren shoots for a double leg takedown but Diaz sprawls well. He's pushed Warren's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Warren looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Diaz has picked Warren up and slammed him! Warren can't keep hold of the triangle and Diaz manages to pass to side control!

Diaz wants to stand but Warren is controlling his arm.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Diaz stands up and beckons Warren to his feet.

Diaz decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Warren, up you get!
Warren misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Warren takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Warren changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Diaz tries to avoid it but Warren manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Diaz to the ground. Diaz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Diaz closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Warren did well to prevent Diaz getting side control.

Warren takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Diaz lands with a kick to the temple. Warren shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Diaz makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Diaz stalks Warren and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Warren's face. Warren staggers backwards, shaken.

Warren throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Diaz escapes and throws Warren's legs to the side, diving into side control!

I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
