Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ching Ling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gordinho Tenorio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ling has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Gordinho Tenorio has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tenorio gets caught flat footed, as Ling shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Ling advances position into side control!
Ling cracks Tenorio with a big right hand but Tenorio just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Tenorio tries to buck Ling off but Ling is having none of it.
Tenorio is pushing Ling's head away, looking to escape. Ling manages to hold on to the position though.
Ling is looking to take a break and control but Tenorio is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ling is trying to get an arm triangle but Tenorio is defending well.
Tenorio is pushing Ling's head away, looking to escape. Ling manages to hold on to the position though.
Ling has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
An elbow from Ling crashes against the mat.
Ling is trying to get an arm triangle but Tenorio is defending well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ling working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Tenorio regains half guard.
Ling sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Tenorio defending well though.
Ling throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Tenorio to regain full guard.
Tenorio manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ling manages to get himself to full guard.
Ling is trying to control the position but Tenorio postures up.

Tenorio controls from within his opponent's guard.
Ling wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Tenorio is now in half guard.
Tenorio moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Ling.
Ling is not content to let Tenorio control the position.
An elbow from Tenorio crashes against the mat.
Tenorio sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Ling is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Tenorio trying to control the action but Ling is working from the bottom.

Ling throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Ling dodges the ground and pound from Tenorio.
Tenorio wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ling keeps working.
Ling trying his best to control but Tenorio has mounted him.
Ling tries to control Tenorio's body but Tenorio pushes him off. Ling squirms to his side and now Tenorio has his back!
Tenorio is looking for the choke from the back position but Ling is controlling his hands well.
Ling trying to control the action but Tenorio just sinks the hooks in.
You can see the frustration on Ling's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ling defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Tenorio's arms.
Ling tries to roll but Tenorio sticks to his back.
Ling has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Tenorio throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.
Ling is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Will Tenorio go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tenorio is not going to allow Ling to sit and survive in this position.
Tenorio is looking to control Ling but Ling is wriggling around and keeping busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ching Ling will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Tenorio attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Tenorio dives in and grabs Ling's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ling pushes down on Tenorio's head and hops out.
Tenorio fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ling avoids it really well and circles away.
Tenorio stalks Ling and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ling's face. Ling staggers backwards, shaken.
Tenorio tries to close the distance and clinch but Ling swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ling shoots in but Tenorio avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Tenorio looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ling is fending him off so far but Tenorio persists. Nope, Ling circles away and we're back to standing.
Ching Ling has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gordinho Tenorio.
Tenorio throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ling scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Ling tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Ling lands a decent elbow from side control.
Ling throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Tenorio tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ling wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The strikes coming from Ling are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Ling is looking to take a break and control but Tenorio is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ling lands a decent elbow from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tenorio struggling a bit here.
Ling has an Americana. Tenorio didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Ling is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Ling hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Ching Ling!
Ching Ling tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
