Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ian Dyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rocky Smith! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ian Dyson! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith swats away the attempt to clinch by Dyson. Dyson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Smith paws at him with a jab and circles away. Dyson lands with a thumping leg kick.
Dyson shoots in and drives through. Smith sprawls well. Dyson wants to clinch. Dyson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Smith's face as he tries to break the clinch. Dyson doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Smith wants the takedown. Dyson is fighting it off but Smith persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Dyson's guard against the cage. Smith is breathing heavily. Dyson is adopting a defensive guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dyson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Smith! Dyson is standing up, even though he is in mount. Dyson fails to land with a series of punches.
Dyson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smith tries to avoid it but Dyson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smith to the ground. Smith escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Dyson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Smith but Smith pushes him off and we're back to square one. Rocky Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ian Dyson. Dyson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smith tries to avoid it but Dyson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smith to the ground. Smith escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Dyson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Smith counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dyson slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Dyson is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Dyson throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Smith looking to pass the guard. Dyson is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Dyson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dyson has a takedown stuffed. Dyson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Smith fails to pull guard.

Smith tries to score a body lock takedown but Dyson shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Dyson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dyson throws a nice looking combination but Smith bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Dyson closes the distance and clinches. Dyson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Smith uses from the top position. Smith has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Dyson will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dyson is looking for a triangle but Smith pushes his legs off easily.
Dyson is pulling down on Smith's head. It's preventing any offense from Smith, at least for the moment. Smith postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Dyson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Smith, into his guard. Dyson passes easily into side control. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ian Dyson dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Dyson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Smith sprawls well. Smith wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dyson gets slowly back to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Smith tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Dyson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Smith as Dyson shoots in. Rocky Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ian Dyson. Dyson shoots in for a takedown but Smith shows good takedown defense. Dyson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Smith. That did some damage! Smith pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dyson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Smith is fending him off so far but Dyson persists. Nope, Smith circles away and we're back to standing. Dyson pushes Smith away with a front kick. Smith tries to clinch but fails miserably and Dyson counters with a lovely straight right hand! Rocky Smith is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Smith stuffs the takedown attempt from Dyson. Dyson gets slowly back to his feet. Dyson shoots for a takedown but Smith saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smith drives through and clinches with Dyson against the cage.
A battle for position here, against the cage. Dyson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Smith uses from the top position. Dyson keeping moving, preventing Smith from controlling successfully. Dyson manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Dyson is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Smith's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Dyson wants to get back to his feet. Dyson is pressing down on Smith's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Smith wants to stand but Dyson is controlling his posture from full guard. Dyson thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Smith throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dyson works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Smith wants to control from the top but Dyson keeps moving. Dyson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Smith! Ian Dyson has got the better of the ground game so far. Smith tries to reverse the position but Dyson maintains control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dyson tries to control but Smith wriggling away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dyson controlling the pace for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ian Dyson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Smith takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. This has been an exciting period of action! Dyson darts in and clinches Smith up against the cage. Dyson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Smith fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dyson to the ground. Smith is now in Dyson's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Smith preventing the sweep. Dyson has his foot on Smith's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Smith works his way back into a safe position though. Dyson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Smith defends well. Dyson is trying to keep Smith in close.

And that's the end of the fight! Ian Dyson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Dyson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
