The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Padilha misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Brown shoots in looking for a takedown but Padilha manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Brown's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Brown shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Padilha as he avoids it easily.
Padilha lands a high kick to the side of Brown's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Padilha dives into guard, looking to finish.
It looks like Wayne Brown has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brown is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Padilha defends well.
Brown is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Padilha is aware though and is defending well.
Brown has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Padilha doesn't defend quickly enough and Brown has managed to lock this one up! Can Padilha escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Brown on a fantastic submission victory.
