Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lupe Pintor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Tinsdell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tinsdell has chosen "Left Behind" by Slipknot as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lupe Pintor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Anthony Tinsdell! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Lou da Vinci and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pintor throws a right hand that Tinsdell ducks under and follows up with a left that Tinsdell also avoids with ease. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pintor. Tinsdell dodges the punch combination from Pintor.
Pintor lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Tinsdell darts in trying to clinch and Pintor counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Tinsdell tries to clinch there but Pintor circles away.
Tinsdell moves out of range as Pintor strikes. Pintor leaves Tinsdell with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tinsdell closes the distance but Pintor moves to the side and Pintor counters with a three punch combo that has Tinsdell backing up. Tinsdell nods at Pintor to acknowledge the strikes. Tinsdell clinches up against the cage. Pintor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Tinsdell tries to clinch and Pintor counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Lupe Pintor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tinsdell tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pintor paws at him with a jab and circles away. Tinsdell on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Tinsdell closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Pintor's guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Tinsdell drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pintor manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tinsdell has Pintor in his guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pintor tries to stand but Tinsdell is controlling from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tinsdell working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pintor doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pintor manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Pintor gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Pintor swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tinsdell moves in looking to clinch but Pintor pushes him off. Tinsdell tries to grapple but his opponent circles letting Pintor counter with a right hand. Pintor looks to throw the jab but Tinsdell is out of range. Pintor throws a nice looking combination but Tinsdell bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Tinsdell on the wrong end of a nice jab. Tinsdell looks to land a right hand but Pintor moved out of range. Tinsdell avoids the head kick by Pintor.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pintor misses with an uppercut
and Tinsdell holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Pintor breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A slow jab from Tinsdell misses its intended target. Pintor throws a sloppy head kick and Tinsdell moves out of range easily. Left hook, right uppercut from Pintor. Pintor throws a nice looking combination but Tinsdell bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Tinsdell closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tinsdell moves to clinch but Pintor breaks away and Pintor counters with a head kick. A combination from Pintor does no damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lupe Pintor dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Pintor throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Tinsdell stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Lupe Pintor is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Tinsdell fails with an attempt to clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tinsdell is defended easily by Pintor. Good standup being displayed there by Pintor as he connects with a hook. Pintor lands a head kick. Tinsdell smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pintor keeps the fight on the outside. Tinsdell looks for a takedown but Pintor sprawls well. Pintor lands a jab to the head.
Tinsdell tests Pintor's chin there with a solid looking shot. Tinsdell tries to clinch and Pintor counters with a series of strikes. Tinsdell will be more careful next time no doubt. Tinsdell tries to close the distance and clinch but Pintor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Pintor is looking to chop away at Tinsdell's legs. Tinsdell tries to clinch but Pintor moves away letting Pintor counter with a right hand.

Pintor scores with a jab to the jaw. Tinsdell moves to clinch but Pintor breaks away and Pintor counters with a flying knee. Nice. Tinsdell moves out of range of the strikes. Tinsdell doesn't manage to clinch there - Pintor circles away.
Tinsdell tries to clinch and Pintor counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Pintor throws a leg kick but Tinsdell sees it coming and checks it nicely. Tinsdell tries to clinch but Pintor moves away and Pintor connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pintor throws a nice looking combination but Tinsdell bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Sloppy strikes from Pintor. Those never looked like landing. Tinsdell tries to clinch but Pintor moves out of range. Nice shot by Pintor. Pintor scores with a leg kick.
Tinsdell takes a shot right to the bread basket. Tinsdell checks a low kick from Pintor. Tinsdell slips under a jab from Pintor. Pintor getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pintor lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tinsdell circles away quickly and effectively. Tinsdell takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Tinsdell closes the distance looking to clinch and Pintor counters with a two punch combo. Tinsdell tries to clinch up letting Pintor counter with a right hand. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pintor misses with a double jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pintor bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Tinsdell's head. Tinsdell wants to clinch up but Pintor keeps it at a distance. Lupe Pintor is winning the standup battle so far. Pintor pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tinsdell wants to clinch but Pintor slips to the side and Pintor counters with an inside leg kick. Pintor moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Pintor swats away the attempt to clinch by Tinsdell. Lupe Pintor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice defenses there by Tinsdell. Pintor circles away from the clinch attempt and Pintor counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. The fight stays on the outside here - Tinsdell looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Tinsdell tries to clinch but fails miserably and Pintor counters with a series of strikes. Tinsdell will be more careful next time no doubt. Tinsdell closes the distance but Pintor moves to the side and Pintor cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Anthony Tinsdell has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pintor throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Pintor buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Pintor looks for the body kick but Tinsdell saw that one coming. Nice shot by Pintor. A head kick misses from Pintor. Tinsdell has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. A punch lands to the side of Tinsdell 's head but he takes it in his stride. Pintor misses with a body shot.
Pintor throws a head kick but Tinsdell moves out of range.
Lupe Pintor is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Pintor thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Tinsdell if he has to take too many more of those.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tinsdell fails in his attempt to clinch. Pintor throws a series of punches but Tinsdell moves out of range. Tinsdell shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Tinsdell tries to clinch but fails miserably and Pintor counters with a nice leg kick. Tinsdell looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Tinsdell slips a jab and a cross from Pintor.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Pintor rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tinsdell moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Tinsdell takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Tinsdell blocks a head kick by Pintor.
Tinsdell misses the jab. Tinsdell has a takedown stuffed. Lupe Pintor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Tinsdell. Tinsdell throws a predictable looking body shot
and Pintor cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pintor bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Tinsdell's head. Tinsdell throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
And that's the end of the fight! Lupe Pintor showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pintor, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
