Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Washington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Cold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cold has chosen Lil B - My Arms Are The Brooklyn Bridge as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washington is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cold.
Washington throws an overhand right that lands on Cold's shoulder, as Cold tries to avoid the shot.
Cold takes one to the chin there.
Cold avoids the head kick by Washington.
Washington connects with a solid leg kick.
Washington scores with a leg kick.
Cold dodges the punch combination from Washington.
Cold shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Washington as he jumps to the side.
Washington fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cold manages to avoid it.

Cold takes a swing at Washington's ribcage but misses.
Cold gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Washington counters with a nice low kick that buckles Cold's knee momentarily.
A combination from Washington does no damage.
Cold changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Washington tries to avoid it but Cold manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Washington to the ground. Washington escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The fighters circle momentarily. Washington darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Cold fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cold can do anything to dispel that myth.
