Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Ben Funkyama!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Ren Mimura and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funkyama thows a body shot but no joy.
Groszek falls off balance throwing a combination
and Groszek takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Mariusz Groszek has been cut.
Funkyama showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Groszek.
Groszek misses with a two punch combination.

Groszek takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Funkyama avoids the body shot from Groszek.
Funkyama uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Groszek has time to react.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Groszek throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Funkyama moves into the clinch.
Funkyama gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Groszek regains guard.
Funkyama is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Funkyama passes into half guard.

Funkyama seems to be working for a kimura but Groszek defends the submission attempt.
Funkyama passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Groszek!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Groszek tries to lock up and control but Funkyama gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Funkyama is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Oh Groszek is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
