The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terumo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Ritch tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Terumo was well out of range. Poor timing from Ritch.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Terumo checks a leg kick.

Terumo takes a swing at Ritch's ribcage but misses.
Ritch uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Terumo.
Ritch tries a head kick but it misses.
Ritch takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Ritch throws a looping overhand right but Terumo ducks down to avoid it.
Ritch throws a lazy right hand but Terumo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Terumo keeps the fight on the outside.
Terumo thuds his right hand into Ritch's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Terumo gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Terumo lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Terumo lands with a kick to the temple. Ritch shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Ritch takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Ritch is trying to push Terumo away but Terumo has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Bruno Terumo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Ritch looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Terumo throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ritch on the side of the head.

Terumo lands with a hook. Ritch tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Ritch lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ritch misses the jab.
Horrible takedown by Ritch or perhaps it was just good defense by Terumo which made him look bad.
Terumo lands a big head kick that sends Ritch tumbling to the mat! Terumo takes a step backwards and waves Ritch back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Ritch doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Terumo connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ritch's hands.
Terumo drops Ritch with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Ritch! Terumo dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
