Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frulegur Wiskeber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jose Aldo has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jose Aldo seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo misses with a body kick.
Aldo wants to clinch up but Wiskeber keeps it at a distance.

Wiskeber really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aldo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jose Aldo wasn't doing enough on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jose Aldo just wasn't active enough.

Wiskeber shoots in and bounces Aldo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Wiskeber throws a strike but Aldo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Wiskeber lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Aldo sprawling to the canvas. Wiskeber follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Aldo hang on?

Wiskeber is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Aldo still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Aldo has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Aldo wants to control but Wiskeber is keeping him busy.
Aldo remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Aldo seems to have got his legs back now.

Aldo decides to stand back up. Aldo steps back and let's Wiskeber get back to his feet.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wiskeber accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Wiskeber stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Aldo has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Wiskeber manages to get his head free but now Aldo has transitioned to an armbar! Wiskeber grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Aldo! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

After winning the bout, Jose Aldo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
