The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Sutter. That snapped Thompson's head back.
Sutter misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Thompson.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Thompson throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Sutter blocks it with crossed arms.
Thompson tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Sutter wants to take the fight to the mat but Thompson manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Sutter managing to block the knees to the body from Thompson.
Sutter drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The referee calls for Thompson to work.
Thompson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Thompson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sutter closes the distance and clinches.

Thompson using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Sutter has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Thompson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Thompson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Thompson tries to bum rush Sutter with a series of wild strikes but Sutter uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Thompson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sutter paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Sutter closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Thompson did well to prevent Sutter getting side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Sutter slips a nice elbow through Thompson's hands, connecting with Thompson's forehead.
Sutter not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Thompson is not content to let Sutter control the position.
Sutter scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Sutter takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Thompson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Sutter scores with a couple of nice shots.
Thompson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sutter on the ground.
Sutter seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Thompson is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
