Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Bader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Windigo Sandy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ryan Bader! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Windigo Sandy! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bader is looking to clinch. Bader looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Sandy! Sandy keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
BOOM! Bader connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Bader landing punches. This has been an exciting period of action! Bader lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bader controlling from mount. Bader landing strikes from the mount. Sandy is trying desperately to improve position. Bader controlling his opponent. Sandy is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Bader unloading with bombs! Bader has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bader content just to control the position here. Sandy is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bader with the ground and pound from mount. Sandy gets back to half guard. Bader looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sandy with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Sandy is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bader scores with a couple of nice shots. Bader content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Bader trying to mount his opponent but Sandy defends it. Bader trying to control from half guard but Sandy is working away. Sandy tries to roll over but Bader keeps him under control. Sandy is trying to control but can't.
Sandy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sandy can do anything to dispel that myth. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bader lands a nice short elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bader slips a nice elbow through Sandy's hands, connecting with Sandy's forehead. Bader trying to control the pace. Bader decides to stand and escape the position. Sandy fails in his attempt to clinch. Sandy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bader circles away. Bader shoots in but no luck this time. Sandy misses with a straight right. Sandy gets caught napping as Bader dives in and scores a takedown. Sandy manages to retain guard. Bader trying to control but Sandy is working from the bottom. Bader landing with the ground and pound. Bader prevents Sandy from getting back to his feet. Bader engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bader lands a couple of digs. Bader advances position into side control! Bader working the body and head with strikes. Bader trying to control the action but Sandy is working from the bottom. Sandy sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Bader landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Sandy looks like he's trying to stand up.
Bader is nestled in close to Sandy, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Bader controlling the pace. Sandy looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bader controlling the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bader is thwarting Sandy's attempts to control the position. Bader trying to control the action but Sandy is working from the bottom. This has been an exciting period of action! Bader controlling the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Ryan Bader just wasn't active enough. Bader looking to score a takedown here. Sandy is defending well but Bader drives through and ends up in Sandy's guard. Bader lands a couple of decent looking shots. Sandy keeping moving, preventing Bader from controlling successfully. Bader preventing the sweep. Bader not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bader lands a couple of elbows. Bader lands a couple of decent looking shots. Sandy wants to get back to his feet but Bader is in a dominant position and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Bader dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Sandy checks the leg kick nicely there.
Bader shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sandy as he avoids it easily. Bader shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sandy defends it nicely. Bader misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sandy fails to land the takedown. Bader shoots in for a takedown but Sandy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Bader. That's going to take a lot out of him. A punch combination from Bader misses. Sandy shoots for a takedown but Bader saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Sandy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Sandy tries to clinch up. Sandy shoots in and drives through. Bader sprawls well. Windigo Sandy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bader lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Bader closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Check out the look on Bader's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sandy takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sandy tries to get back to half guard but can't. Bader is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sandy can do to turn this around? Sandy pushes Bader away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Bader gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Sandy is looking to regain half guard here but Bader keeps moving and retains side control. Sandy takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Bader wants to control but Sandy is keeping him busy. Bader is putting a hurting on Sandy here, landing some big shots from side control. Bader landing a few strikes. Sandy tries to buck Bader off but Bader is having none of it. Sandy is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Bader is chipping away with strikes.
Sandy is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bader is controlling him well. Sandy tries to bench press Bader off him but Bader keeps the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sandy is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Sandy manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Sandy is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sandy throws a strike but Bader rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Bader connects with a couple of short punches. Bader gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Bader shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sandy as he avoids it easily. Bader stuffs the takedown attempt from Sandy. Sandy gets slowly back to his feet. Bader looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Bader throws a wild body kick that Sandy sees coming a mile off. Sandy drives through and clinches with Bader against the cage.
Bader wants a takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sandy trying to land knees to the body.

Sandy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sandy throws a head kick that half lands.
Bader dives in and grabs Sandy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sandy pushes down on Bader's head and hops out. Sandy fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bader sprawls well initially but Sandy persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Sandy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bader does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Sandy sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bader defending well though. Bader trying to control here.
Sandy throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Bader to regain full guard. Bader not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bader looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sandy is one step ahead there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bader keeping full guard, as Sandy tries to pass. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sandy stopping the sweep attempt from Bader. Sandy is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bader is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bader has escaped and now he's on top! Sandy looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bader missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Ryan Bader will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Sandy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bader.
Bader attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Sandy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Some bone on bone action there as Bader checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Sandy shoots in for a double leg but Bader sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Bader misses with a body kick. Bader shoots in for a takedown but Sandy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Bader scores with a takedown into Sandy's guard. Sandy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bader can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Sandy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Sandy has momentary wrist control but Bader slips an elbow through the middle. Sandy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bader. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sandy takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bader wants to control from the top but Sandy keeps moving. Sandy throws his legs up looking for a submission but Bader uses it to pass to side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bader working the ground and pound. Ryan Bader overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bader content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Sandy tries to escape but Bader is in control. Sandy on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Sandy taking punishment in the form of punches.
Bader grinds an elbow into Sandy's temple. Sandy on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Bader connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Sandy some visible discomfort.
Sandy on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Sandy sneaks back into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bader lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Sandy wants to get back to full guard but Bader has passed into side control. Windigo Sandy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bader passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Sandy! Bader trying to control but he's not successful this time. Sandy taking shots to the head. A nice elbow there by Bader.
Sandy is rocked! Bader pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Sandy is still in real trouble! Can Bader finish him? Bader cracks Sandy with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ryan Bader!
