Mehtala lands a glancing blow to the side of Youkilis's head.
Mehtala shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Mehtala trying to mount his opponent but Youkilis defends it.
Youkilis trying to hold on to Mehtala's head to control him but Mehtala postures up.
Mehtala tries to pass to full mount but Youkilis defends it.
Youkilis is breathing heavily.
Mehtala is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Youkilis manages to get to full guard.

Youkilis is looking for a triangle but Mehtala pushes his legs off easily.
Mehtala seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Youkilis gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Mehtala slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Mehtala postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Youkilis is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Mehtala, into his guard.
Youkilis is posturing up here but Mehtala has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Youkilis tries to roll out but it's too tight and Youkilis has to tap! Slick submission there by Mehtala!
