Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chad Brannovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masa Majava (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chad Brannovic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Masa Majava! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brannovic throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Majava slips under a jab. Brannovic throws an overhand right that lands on Majava's shoulder, as Majava tries to avoid the shot. Majava avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Brannovic throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Majava sees it coming and avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brannovic catches Majava napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Majava to the canvas!
Majava is rocked! Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brannovic accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Majava looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Brannovic content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Majava is on top in guard.
Majava is looking to stand up but Brannovic won't let him. Majava should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Majava stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brannovic swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Majava stopping the sweep attempt from Brannovic. Brannovic is working hard here to advance position. Majava wants to get up but he can't break Brannovic's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Brannovic is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Brannovic bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Majava's guard. Brannovic scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Brannovic landing with the ground and pound. Brannovic makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Majava looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brannovic is one step ahead there. Brannovic throwing strikes from guard but Majava blocks nicely. Majava pushes Brannovic off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Majava closes the distance and clinches up with Brannovic, looking for a takedown. Majava pushes Brannovic against the cage but Brannovic circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Brannovic lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Majava steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Brannovic. Brannovic is breathing heavily. Brannovic closes this distance looking for a takedown but Majava circles away. Majava tries to clinch there but Brannovic circles away.
Majava shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Majava stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Majava has his takedown stuffed enabling Brannovic to counter with a crisp jab. Brannovic circles away from the clinch attempt enabling Brannovic to counter with a crisp jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chad Brannovic dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Majava wants to clinch so Brannovic counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Brannovic postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Brannovic makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Brannovic trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Majava is looking to stand up but Brannovic isn't so interested in that idea. Brannovic has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Majava working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brannovic doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brannovic manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Brannovic cracks Majava with a solid left hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Majava has a closed guard, preventing Brannovic from standing up. Brannovic working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Brannovic trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Brannovic lands a couple of digs. Brannovic stands up over Majava, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Majava is still in real trouble! Can Brannovic finish him? Majava can't keep his opponent in guard - Brannovic advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Brannovic working the head and body with strikes. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Brannovic connects with a nice short shot to Majava's temple. Brannovic passes the guard and advances to mount! Brannovic is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Majava goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Brannovic!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Chad Brannovic!
