The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Johnson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lombard swivels and escapes.

Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown. Lombard tries to sprawl out of it but Johnson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lombard manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Lombard takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Lombard is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Johnson asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Lombard shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Johnson pinned against the cage. Johnson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Lombard shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Johnson as he avoids it easily.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Johnson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lombard tries to avoid it but Johnson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lombard to the ground. Lombard escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lombard dodges the punch combination from Johnson.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Johnson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Lombard remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
