Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alves comes into the arena with Dirt on your shoulders blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shawn Henderson!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves scores with a three punch combo!
Henderson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Alves defends it nicely.
Alves wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Alves throws a right and a left that both miss.
Henderson tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Henderson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Alves lands a head kick. Henderson smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Henderson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Alves avoids it really well and circles away.
Thiago Alves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shawn Henderson.
Henderson blocks a head kick by Alves.
A left and a right from Alves both land. Nice combination.
Alves throws a head kick but Henderson moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Henderson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Alves connects with a high kick.
Henderson is rocked!
Alves and Henderson are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Alves throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Henderson into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Alves knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
