Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Nash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Merce Poindexter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kevin Nash has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poindexter blocks a jab.
Nash rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Poindexter moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nice takedown defense from Nash. No joy for Poindexter on that attempt.
Nash avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nash dives in and grabs Poindexter's left leg, looking for a takedown. Poindexter pushes down on Nash's head and hops out.
The fight stays on the outside here - Poindexter looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nash rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Poindexter moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Poindexter fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Nash, pushing him back against the cage.
Nash has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Poindexter is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Poindexter can't break the clinch.
Poindexter tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Poindexter escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Poindexter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nash shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Poindexter as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kevin Nash. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Nash gets a takedown into half guard.

Poindexter is defending against the submission attempts here by Nash.
Poindexter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nash. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Nash is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Poindexter is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
