The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Papadopoulos dodges the punch combination from Eonardo.
Papadopoulos uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Eonardo.
Papadopoulos shoots in and drives through. Eonardo sprawls well.
Papadopoulos darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Papadopoulos connects with a nice short shot to Eonardo's temple.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Giorges Papadopoulos.
Eonardo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Eonardo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Papadopoulos fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Papadopoulos shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Papadopoulos was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Papadopoulos is landing with some decent strikes but Eonardo is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Papadopoulos's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Papadopoulos thuds his right hand into Eonardo's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Papadopoulos changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Eonardo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Papadopoulos is putting a hurting on Eonardo here, landing some big shots from side control.

Eonardo is working to avoid the ground and pound but Papadopoulos connects with a decent elbow.
