The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masilungan Jr throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A big left from Masilungan Jr misses.
Masilungan Jr lands with a right hand.
Masilungan Jr misses with a low kick.
Masilungan Jr misses with a two punch combination.
Aldo takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Masilungan Jr lands the left hand.
Aldo moves forwards but Masilungan Jr connects with a nice, crisp jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Masilungan Jr stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Masilungan Jr wants it to stay on the feet.
Aldo is breathing heavily.

Aldo shoots in for a takedown but Masilungan Jr shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Oh Aldo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Aldo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Masilungan Jr swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jose Aldo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Masilungan Jr throws a head kick but Aldo moves out of range.
Masilungan Jr fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Aldo on the side of the head.
Aldo is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Masilungan Jr doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Aldo crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Aldo's bad books for that mishap!
