Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pencil Neck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Johnny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Neck comes to the cage accompanied by Deep Purple - Bad Attitude. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neck tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
DJ Johnny seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Neck shoots in looking for a takedown but Johnny manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Neck's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Johnny stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Johnny wants it to stay on the feet.

Neck throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Johnny lands a really nice looking cross but Neck seems unphased.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Johnny stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Neck swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neck wants to stand and escape but Johnny is having none of it.
Neck can't keep his opponent in guard - Johnny advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Johnny lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Neck misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Neck is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Johnny is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Neck has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Johnny defend it? Neck steps over the head and cranks it - Johnny is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Neck!
