Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Toby Jay Wadenah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Upton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Wadenah might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pantera - Cowboys From Hell. Upton is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: DL Incognito - Proof. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Toby Jay Wadenah!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Luke Upton!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Eddie Farnsworth and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wadenah punishes Upton's body with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Luke Upton has been cut.
Wadenah swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Upton counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Wadenah thinking.
Luke Upton is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Wadenah sizes up Upton with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Wadenah throws a front kick aimed at Upton's knee but Upton avoids it well.
Wadenah wants to clinch up but Upton keeps it at a distance.
Wadenah lands with a nice body punch.

Wadenah gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Upton tries to pull guard but Wadenah holds him up against the cage and eventually Upton drops back down to his feet.

Wadenah works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Wadenah blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Wadenah lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Wadenah tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Upton's elbow.

Wadenah stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wadenah wants it to stay on the feet.

Upton will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Upton tightens his grip and picks Wadenah up, before dumping him to the ground. Wadenah manages to land in guard.
Upton is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Upton throws a strike but Wadenah rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Upton has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wadenah can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
