PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andries Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Willingham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aldo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I Just Want it All. Tyson Willingham told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willingham scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Willingham's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Willingham duly obliges.
Willingham moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Aldo is rocked!
Willingham defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Aldo .
No joy there for Willingham, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Aldo moves forwards but Willingham connects with a nice, crisp jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Aldo has a takedown stuffed.
Willingham misses with a few strikes there.

Aldo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Willingham as he jumps to the side.

Willingham digs a good hook to Aldo 's body.
Aldo seems to have got his legs back now.
Aldo is breathing heavily.
Aldo dodges the punch combination from Willingham.
Willingham misses with the combination.
Willingham throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Aldo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Willingham cracks Aldo with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Willingham lands with an uppercut that bounces Aldo off the cage and back into range.
Aldo closes the distance and clinches up with Willingham, looking for a takedown. Aldo pushes Willingham against the cage but Willingham circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Willingham lands a hook that stumbles Aldo back into the cage. Willingham follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Aldo to the canvas! Willingham pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Aldo has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
