PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Court Mckenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Gannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Luke Gannon was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mckenzie closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Gannon quickly recovers to half guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gannon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mckenzie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mckenzie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mckenzie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Mckenzie drops back looking for a leg! Gannon is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gannon manages to kick Mckenzie off! Mckenzie jumps back into Gannon's guard.

Mckenzie drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Mckenzie as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Gannon screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Mckenzie! Nice submission victory there!
