Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rivilinho Rivaldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Foe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Foe is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rivilinho Rivaldo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Foe!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foe tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rivaldo swivels and escapes.
Horrible takedown by Foe or perhaps it was just good defense by Rivaldo which made him look bad.
Rivaldo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rivaldo misses with a double jab.
Rivaldo clobbers Foe with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Rivaldo misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rivaldo throws an overhand right that lands on Foe's shoulder, as Foe tries to avoid the shot.

Foe shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rivaldo is trying to defend but Foe finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Well, if Foe is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
It looks like Foe might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Foe wants to pass to mount but Rivaldo is defending the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Foe not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Foe wants to control but Rivaldo is keeping him busy.
Foe performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Joe Foe.
Foe misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rivilinho Rivaldo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Foe.
Rivaldo lands with a right hand.
Rivilinho Rivaldo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rivaldo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A punch combination from Rivaldo misses.

A swing and a miss from Rivaldo.
Rivaldo misses with a jab, cross combination.

Foe rushes Rivaldo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Rivaldo prevents the takedown attempt.
Foe looking for a takedown.
Rivaldo scores with a nice hook to the head.
Foe tries to score a body lock takedown but Rivaldo shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Rivaldo misses with a short punch on the inside.
Rivaldo has had enough of the clinch but Foe keeps him there for the moment.
Foe throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Rivaldo blocks it with crossed arms.
Rivaldo doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A nice right hand lands inside from Rivaldo.
Rivaldo lands a left hand that snaps the head of Foe backwards.
A short uppercut from Rivaldo.
Rivaldo lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Foe backwards.
Rivaldo has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Rivaldo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Rivaldo gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Rivaldo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Foe ducks under a wild hook from Rivaldo.

Rivaldo misses with a straight right.
Rivilinho Rivaldo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Foe has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.


It looks like Joe Foe has been cut.
Rivaldo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Foe changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rivaldo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Rivaldo regains half guard.
Rivaldo is trying to stand.
Rivaldo blocking the ground and pound attempt from Foe.
Foe throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Rivaldo moves into full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Foe throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Foe wants to pass the guard but Rivaldo is keeping the position.

Rivaldo has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Foe off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Rivaldo connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Foe's hands.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Rivaldo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rivaldo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Rivaldo clinches up against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Rivaldo.
Rivaldo goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Foe manages to pull guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Foe tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Rivaldo wants to get up but he can't break Foe's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Rivaldo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Foe is trying to keep Rivaldo in close.
Foe wants to sweep but no luck.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rivilinho Rivaldo dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Joe Foe's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Rivaldo looks to land a combination but Foe avoids it well.
Rivaldo misses with a double jab.
Rivaldo lands a nice shot that snaps Foe's head back.
Rivilinho Rivaldo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Foe closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rivaldo circles away.

Foe feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Foe is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Foe wants to pass the guard but Rivaldo is keeping the position.
Foe throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Foe trying to control but Rivaldo is working from the bottom.
Foe tries to free his leg and advance position but Rivaldo is retaining full guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Joe Foe wasn't active enough on the ground.
Foe fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rivaldo throws a jab when Foe was well out of range.
Rivaldo leaves Foe with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rivaldo swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Foe.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Foe.
Rivilinho Rivaldo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Foe.
Rivaldo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Foe.
Foe is breathing heavily.
Rivaldo uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Foe has time to react.
Rivaldo throws a big shot that misses.
Rivaldo jabs Foe right on the nose. Foe blinks but takes it well.
Rivaldo is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Foe circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rivaldo closes the distance and lands a one-two.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Foe slips a jab and a cross from Rivaldo.
Rivaldo misses the shot to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Foe looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Rivaldo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Rivaldo moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Rivilinho Rivaldo is winning the standup battle so far.
Foe misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rivaldo is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Foe throws a jab when Rivaldo was well out of range.

Foe tries to keep at a distance but Rivaldo has taken the fight into the clinch.
Rivaldo swings wildly with an uppercut but Foe uses good head movement to avoid it.
Foe lands a nice elbow.
Foe blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Foe wants a takedown but no success here.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Foe.
Rivaldo tries to break the clinch but Foe is controlling the position.
Foe drops down looking for an ankle pick but Rivaldo pulls his leg out and moves away.
Rivaldo swinging wildly here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rivaldo cracks Foe with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Foe looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Foe is defended easily by Rivaldo.
Foe tries to close the distance and clinch but Rivaldo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Good standup being displayed there by Rivaldo as he connects with a hook.
Foe tries to move into range but Rivaldo moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.


Foe is rocked!
Rivaldo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Foe is still on wobbly legs! Can Rivaldo finish him?
Rivaldo cracks Foe with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Foe takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Foe.
Rivaldo feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Foe crashing to the mat! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Rivilinho Rivaldo!
