Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Damian Grabowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Randy Blanket!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grabowski scores with a three punch combo!
Grabowski lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Grabowski lands a nice hook to Blanket's body. Blanket takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Grabowski tries to clinch but Blanket is having none of it.

Grabowski shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Blanket napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Grabowski is trying to ground and pound but Blanket uses the momentary lack of control by Grabowski to regain half guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Blanket is on top in guard.

Grabowski lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Blanket circles away quickly and effectively.
Grabowski looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Blanket shoots in and drives through. Grabowski sprawls well.

Blanket thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Blanket tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Blanket has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Grabowski wants to get back to his feet but Blanket drags him back down.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Grabowski tries to close the distance and clinch but Blanket swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Blanket has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Grabowski is working away from the top position though.

Blanket's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Grabowski connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Blanket scrambles back to his feet.

Grabowski arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Blanket's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Damian Grabowski!
A relieved looking Damian Grabowski thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
