Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hiro Matsuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Warner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jay Warner acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hiro Matsuka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jay Warner! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matsuka with a poor takedown and Warner counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Warner seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Warner moves into full mount! Matsuka won't be happy about that! Matsuka taking shots to the head. Warner raining down shots from the mount! Warner has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Warner has control of Matsuka's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Matsuka regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Warner jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Matsuka is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Matsuka and Warner has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Warner looks up at the clock and then as Matsuka takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Warner smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Warner wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Matsuka, who protects the arm well. Warner working away. Matsuka gets back to half guard. Matsuka taking some punishment here, with Warner in his half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Warner is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Matsuka doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Warner. Matsuka wants to control but Warner is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Warner is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Matsuka sees it coming and defends easily. Warner tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Matsuka. Warner working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Matsuka punching from the bottom.
Warner seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Matsuka does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Matsuka wants to control but Warner is keeping busy and won't allow it. Warner is keen to just control but Matsuka is a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Matsuka is trying to get back to full guard. Matsuka trying to control from the bottom.
Warner is working for a kimura but Matsuka is defending it quite comfortably.
Warner wants to work for an arm triangle but Matsuka is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Matsuka is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Warner pulls his head out easily. Warner prevents Matsuka from improving his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Warner is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Matsuka has managed to free his arm - good work. Matsuka wants to control but Warner is keeping busy.
Warner decides to stand and escape the position. Warner closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Matsuka quickly recovers to half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Matsuka moves into full guard.
Matsuka looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jay Warner dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Matsuka gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Warner decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Matsuka's guard. Matsuka working for a triangle but Warner defends it easily.
Warner is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Matsuka utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Warner pushing down on Matsuka's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Warner is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Matsuka moves into full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Warner trying to control the position from guard on top but Matsuka is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Warner drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Matsuka manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Warner has Matsuka in his guard. Warner keeping moving, preventing Matsuka from controlling successfully. Matsuka has gone for a leg lock! Warner slips out almost immediately though and dives into Matsuka's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Warner is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Warner trying to control but Matsuka is working from the bottom. Warner looking to sit in guard and control but Matsuka gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Matsuka postures up.
Matsuka throws a big elbow that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Matsuka throwing strikes but missing. Matsuka passes Warner's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Warner regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Matsuka. Matsuka loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Matsuka wants to control from the top but Warner keeps moving. Warner pulls Matsuka in close to his closed guard and prevents Matsuka from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Matsuka wants to control from the top but Warner keeps moving. Warner looking to hit a scissor sweep but Matsuka is one step ahead there. Matsuka trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Warner manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Warner lands a couple of digs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jay Warner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!
Matsuka shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Warner counters with a nice double leg into guard. Matsuka is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Warner is aware though and is defending well. Warner pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Matsuka is keeping the position for now. Matsuka keeping moving, preventing Warner from controlling successfully. Matsuka preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Warner stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Matsuka throws up his legs and catches Warner in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Warner tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Matsuka! That came out of nowhere!
