Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Coach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Corbett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corbett is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Men at Work - Down Under. Nathan Corbett has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with James Coach's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Coach! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Nathan Corbett! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Corbett fails with an attempt to clinch.
James Coach seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Corbett slips a jab from Coach. Coach tests Corbett's chin there with a solid looking shot. Coach throws an off balance right hand
and Coach takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Coach feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Corbett's calf. Coach checks the leg kick nicely there.
Good standup being displayed there by Coach as he connects with a hook. Corbett fails with an attempt to clinch.
Corbett throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Coach staying out of range there. Coach throws a leg kick and Corbett holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Corbett tries to stall but Coach uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Coach misses with a body punch.
Corbett creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Stalling in the clinch from Coach.
Coach blocking some punches.
Coach wants to get back to striking at distance but Corbett won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coach blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Coach as Corbett tries to tie him up. Coach gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Coach working the head and body with strikes. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Coach lands a nice short elbow. Corbett is trying to get back to full guard. Corbett is pressing down on Coach's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Coach trying to control but Corbett is working from the bottom. Corbett throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Corbett looking to hit a scissor sweep but Coach is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coach with a nice head shot there. Corbett is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Coach trying to control the position from guard on top but Corbett is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Coach looking to pass the guard. Coach has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Corbett looking for a guillotine here but Coach defends easily.
Corbett is looking for a triangle but Coach pushes his legs off easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Coach accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Corbett keeping full guard, as Coach tries to pass. Corbett tries to strike from the bottom.
Coach throws a big right hand that misses. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Coach trying to control the position from guard on top but Corbett is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Corbett looking to sweep here. No luck so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Coach dominated that round. The cut man is working on Nathan Corbett's cut. That's time! Back to the action!

Coach has had enough of the clinch but Corbett keeps him there for the moment. Corbett leaning his opponent against the cage. Coach makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Coach wants a takedown but no success here.

Coach throws a head punch that misses. A head punch on the inside from Corbett fails to land. Corbett is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Coach is keeping busy. Coach tries a body shot but Corbett blocks it.

Corbett tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Corbett slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Coach throws a right hand that misses
and Corbett counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coach throws a jab but it's blocked by Corbett. Corbett fails in his attempt to clinch. Coach misses with an uppercut. A nice leg kick lands there from Coach. No luck for Coach with that takedown attempt. Corbett misses the shot to the body. Corbett blocks a head kick by Coach.
Coach throws out a loose jab but Corbett uses good head movement to avoid it. Coach tries to score a power double leg takedown but Corbett sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Coach somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Coach. That's going to take a lot out of him. Coach tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Corbett was well out of range. Poor timing from Coach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coach misses with a looping left. Corbett looks to land a right hand but Coach moved out of range. Coach throws a leg kick but Corbett sees it coming and checks it nicely. Coach digs a good hook to Corbett's body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Coach, as that shot connected.
Corbett lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Coach scores with the left hand. Corbett knows he should have avoided that one. Corbett displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Coach throws out the jab. Corbett uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Coach. Coach connects with a body shot. An inside leg kick lands from Corbett. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Coach throws a head kick but Corbett moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coach fails with the takedown. Coach has his takedown stuffed and Corbett counters with a left and a right that stings Coach. Corbett tries to close the distance and clinch up but Coach swats him away and circles back towards the center. Corbett tries to clinch but Coach is having none of it. Corbett throws out a powerful jab. A head kick from Corbett lands but Coach takes it in his stride.
It looks like James Coach has been cut. Nathan Corbett seems to be getting the better of the standup. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Coach works Corbett's body with a nice hook. Coach avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Coach throws a head kick that Corbett semi-blocks.
Coach missing with a left hand there. Corbett was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A telegraphed right hand from Coach misses the target. Coach throws a jab when Corbett was well out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Corbett throws a leg kick which misses Coach's front leg but catches the back leg as Coach tries to avoid it. Corbett moves into the clinch. Coach is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Corbett lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Coach with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Corbett makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Corbett gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Coach is looking to take this one to the mat. Coach misses with the head strike.
Corbett is trying to maintain a safe position but Coach gets an underhook and turns Corbett into the cage. A head punch on the inside from Coach fails to land. Corbett avoiding damage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Coach breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Coach throws a hook but Corbett blocks it. Coach throws a body punch but Corbett moves out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nathan Corbett showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's time! Coach's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
Corbett avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Corbett tries to clinch but Coach moves out of range. Coach misses with a body shot.
Coach misses with a leg kick and Corbett counters with an inside leg kick. Coach takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Corbett closes the distance and clinches. Corbett blocks an uppercut.
Coach has Corbett pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Coach pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Corbett tumbling to the mat - Coach dives into Corbett's guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Corbett is on top in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Coach looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's one minute gone in the round. Corbett sitting in guard, not really doing much. Corbett avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Corbett wants to control from the top but Coach keeps moving. Corbett is looking to work some ground and pound but Coach has wrist control. James Coach overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Corbett is pushing down on Coach's leg trying to pass to half guard. Coach is fighting to maintain full guard but Corbett has managed to sneak the leg through. Coach is staying active underneath Corbett, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Corbett is looking to advance position but Coach won't allow it. Corbett is looking to take a break and control but Coach is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Coach is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Corbett jumps into side control! Coach sneaks back into half guard. Coach wants to get back to full guard. Coach moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Corbett trying to control the position from guard on top but Coach is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Corbett passes Coach's right leg, so he's now in half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Coach tries to roll over but Corbett keeps him under control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Coach manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Coach had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Corbett defends it easily. Corbett trying to control the position from guard on top but Coach is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Corbett pushing down on Coach's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Coach is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Corbett's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Corbett's back! Coach is landing with strikes. Corbett can't take much more of this. Coach lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Corbett.
Coach gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Corbett breaks Coach's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Corbett looking to sit in guard and control but Coach gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Corbett is trying to keep Coach in close.

Corbett bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Coach's guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Coach keeping moving, preventing Corbett from controlling successfully. Coach looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Nathan Corbett. I think Corbett has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
