Maia's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, I'm Shipping Up To Boston. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maia fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Boss avoids it really well and circles away.
Maia shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Boss as he avoids it easily.

Boss defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Maia.
Maia takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Maia gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Maia shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Boss tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Maia shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Boss sprawls well. Boss wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Maia gets slowly back to his feet.

Last Boss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boss lands a head kick. Maia smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Maia shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Boss takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Maia throws a head kick but Boss moves out of range.
Boss connects with a looping right hand.

Boss lands a brutal head kick. Maia looks out on his feet and Boss throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
