The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thermandin keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Walker.
Thermandin shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Thermandin tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Walker manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Walker stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Thermandin.

Walker shoots in looking for a takedown but Thermandin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Walker's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Thermandin pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Thermandin moves in looking to clinch but Walker pushes him off.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Walker crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Thermandin - the referee stops the clock and Walker gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Thermandin. Walker manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Walker displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Thermandin throws out the jab.
Walker throws a hook to the side of Thermandin's head but Thermandin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Thermandin fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Walker has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Well Thermandin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
