Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Noris Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Byrne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Christopher Byrne will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Noris Wilson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Christopher Byrne! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Phil Schofield and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Byrne tries to work over Wilson's front leg with a kick but Wilson checks it. Wilson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Byrne circles away. Byrne tries to clinch up. Byrne gets a takedown into half guard. Byrne with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Byrne wants to control but Wilson is keeping him busy. Byrne frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Byrne controlling from the full mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson can't escape the position.
Wilson regains half guard. Byrne wants to free his trapped foot but Wilson is holding on for dear life with his legs. Wilson regains full guard. Nicely done. Wilson pulls Byrne in close to prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Byrne throwing strikes from guard but Wilson blocks nicely. Byrne has gone for a leg lock! Wilson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Byrne's guard. Byrne tries to land a sweep but no joy. Wilson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Wilson controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Byrne keeping full guard, as Wilson tries to pass. Wilson stays in close to Byrne's body and controls the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
We're going to have a standup here because Noris Wilson wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Byrne manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Wilson on his heels. He'll look to pass Wilson's guard now, I'm sure. Wilson is pulling down on Byrne's head to control his posture. Byrne wants to pass the guard but Wilson is keeping the position. Wilson seems keen to control Byrne's posture.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Noris Wilson just wasn't active enough. Byrne tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wilson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Byrne shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Byrne tries to clinch up. Noris Wilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Byrne pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wilson shoots in but no luck this time. Byrne tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wilson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Byrne somewhat. Wilson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wilson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Wilson throws a head kick but Byrne moves out of range.

A close round but Christopher Byrne will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Byrne fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Wilson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Byrne is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wilson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Wilson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Wilson shoots in and drives through. Byrne sprawls well. Wilson throws a head kick but Byrne moves out of range.

Wilson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Byrne shoots in for a double leg but Wilson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Noris Wilson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Christopher Byrne. Byrne changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wilson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. You can see the frustration on Wilson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Byrne cracks Wilson with a big elbow.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Byrne working the ground and pound. Byrne trying to control the action but Wilson is working from the bottom. Byrne decides to stand back up. Byrne steps back and let's Wilson get back to his feet. Byrne moves to clinch but Wilson breaks away and Wilson counters with a shoot takedown. Byrne fights it but they end up in guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wilson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Byrne keeping moving, preventing Wilson from controlling successfully. Wilson wants to stand but Byrne has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Wilson stopping the sweep attempt from Byrne. Wilson postures up.
Wilson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Noris Wilson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Wilson leaves Byrne with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Wilson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Byrne's guard. Byrne keeping moving, preventing Wilson from controlling successfully. Wilson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Byrne looking for a sweep. Not yet Byrne, not yet.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Noris Wilson wasn't doing enough on the ground. Byrne scores with a jab. Wilson acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
It looks like Noris Wilson has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wilson tries a head kick but it misses.
Noris Wilson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Byrne wants to clinch. Wilson misses with a takedown attempt and Byrne counters with a shoot takedown. Wilson fights it but they end up in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Christopher Byrne showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Noris Wilson's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Byrne maintains the clinch. Byrne is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Noris Wilson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Christopher Byrne. Byrne jumps guard and drags Wilson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Byrne has his foot on Wilson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wilson works his way back into a safe position though. Wilson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wilson wants to control from the top but Byrne keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Noris Wilson wasn't doing enough on the ground. Wilson lands with a kick to the temple. Byrne shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Byrne throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wilson.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilson throws a sloppy head kick and Byrne moves out of range easily. Byrne fails with the takedown. A head kick misses from Wilson. Byrne shoots for a takedown but Wilson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Wilson tries a head kick but it misses.

He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Byrne shoots in and drives through. Wilson sprawls well. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Byrne takes a kick to the side of the head. Byrne forces Wilson back against the cage and clinches. Noris Wilson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Christopher Byrne is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Wilson fails to pull guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Christopher Byrne comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Byrne winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
