PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fullsize Mirror (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiro Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mirror comes to the cage accompanied by Ordinary Guy--- Blue Scholars. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mirror throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Mirror throws a big shot that misses.
A jab from Nakamura misses.
Mirror throws a head kick that misses.
Nakamura tries to clinch but Mirror is having none of it.
Mirror scores with a nice head shot.
Nakamura connects with a leg kick. Mirror looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Nakamura bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Nakamura displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mirror throws out the jab.
Mirror lands a slapping body shot.
Nakamura swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nakamura throws a low kick but it's checked well by Mirror.
Nakamura has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Mirror.

Mirror goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Nakamura loads up on a big right hand but Mirror slips the punch.
Mirror walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Nakamura checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Hiro Nakamura seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Mirror moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Nakamura tests Mirror's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Nakamura tries to clinch there but Mirror circles away.
Mirror swings for the body but Nakamura moves out of range.
Mirror misses with a left hand
enabling Nakamura to counter with a crisp jab.
A telegraphed right hand from Nakamura misses the target.
Nakamura moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Nakamura lands a nice looking kick to the body. Mirror takes a step back to recover.
Mirror attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Mirror wants to clinch
and Nakamura counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Mirror is countered with a crisp right hand from Nakamura that sends him to the canvas! Nakamura follows him to the mat into side control.

Mirror is rocked!
Nakamura has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Mirror!
Oh Mirror is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nakamura postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Mirror bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Nakamura and the fight is over!
