Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Lambert!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jose Santz!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lambert drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Lambert is looking to work some ground and pound but Santz has wrist control.
Santz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lambert throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Santz works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Santz is trying to control the position but Lambert postures up.
Santz wants to sweep here but Lambert controlling him for the moment.
Lambert with a flurry of punches that miss.
Lambert postures up in Santz's guard and throws a big left but Santz blocks it.
Lambert throwing strikes from guard but Santz blocks nicely.
Lambert throws a strike but Santz rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Santz wants to control from the top but Lambert keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Santz postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Santz drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lambert manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Santz has Lambert in his guard.
Lambert lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Lambert with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Lambert postures up and lands a big shot to Santz's brow.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lambert throws an elbow that misses. Santz uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lambert's guard. Nice move by Santz!
Lambert manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Lambert bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Lambert in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Lambert is working Santz over with some ground and pound from side control.
Santz is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
A big shot lands for Lambert! That's hurt Santz! Will he recover? Lambert fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
