Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Stan Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mike Mashinko!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mashinko uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Johnson.
Mashinko tries to close the distance and clinch but Johnson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mashinko gets tackled into the cage by Johnson. Johnson maintains the clinch.
Mashinko tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Johnson smiles and moves away.
Mashinko gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Johnson counters with a left and a right that hurts Mashinko! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Johnson jumps into full mount!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Johnson postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Mashinko in real trouble here! The ref calls for Mashinko to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stan Johnson!
