0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeremy Bishop! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Davis Anderson! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bishop shoots in and gets a takedown into Anderson's guard. Anderson trying to control the position here. Bishop has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Bishop trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Anderson has Bishop pulled in close to control his posture.
Davis Anderson has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Anderson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Bishop! Anderson stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Bishop will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Anderson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Anderson showed some decent athleticism there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bishop is trying to stand up here but Anderson is controlling him well. Bishop gets full guard. Anderson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Anderson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Anderson wants to get up but he can't break Bishop's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Anderson looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Bishop will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Davis Anderson was stalling too much, according to the referee. A slow jab from Bishop misses its intended target. Anderson fails to land with a series of punches.
Anderson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Anderson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bishop's half guard. Bishop is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bishop is desperately trying to improve his position but Anderson has a good base and remains in mount. Anderson is standing up, even though he is in mount. Anderson moves into the clinch. Anderson tries for a takedown but Bishop manages to get underhooks.

Jeremy Bishop has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Davis Anderson. Bishop changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Anderson fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. No luck for Anderson with that takedown attempt. Bishop drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Anderson looks gassed! Bishop takes a little break here. Anderson wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Anderson can't do much from the bottom here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Anderson is not content to let Bishop control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Davis Anderson dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Bishop tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Anderson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Bishop shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Anderson napping and manages to drive through into side control! Anderson wants to control but Bishop postures up. Anderson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Anderson keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Bishop is looking to take a break and control but Anderson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Anderson has one foot on Bishop's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. No luck for Bishop with that takedown attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Anderson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bishop circles away. Bishop tries for a takedown but Anderson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Anderson wants to clinch up but Bishop keeps it at a distance. Bishop gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Anderson counters with a nice double leg into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeremy Bishop. That's going to take a lot out of him. Anderson moves into full mount! Bishop won't be happy about that! Anderson controlling the position easily from mount. Anderson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bishop has given up his back here. Will Anderson look for the submission or keep pounding away?
Anderson slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Anderson avoiding Bishop 's attempts to control his hands. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Anderson is riding his opponent, not letting Bishop buck him off.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Anderson shoots in for a double leg but Bishop sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Anderson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Anderson has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Anderson has hold of Bishop's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bishop manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Davis Anderson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Davis Anderson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Anderson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bishop sprawls well initially but Anderson persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Anderson passes to full mount! Anderson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Anderson is standing up, even though he is in mount. Bishop tries to sprawl but Anderson drives through with a takedown into half guard.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Anderson has eaten all the pies! This has been an exciting period of action! Anderson escapes and gets back to his feet. Anderson scores with a body shot.
Bishop steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Anderson. That one must have hurt. Anderson avoids the head kick by Bishop.
Anderson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bishop did well to prevent Anderson getting side control. Anderson stalling. Anderson decides to stand and escape the position. Anderson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson controlling the pace. Anderson is working for a submission of some sort.
Bishop is refusing to be controlled, as Anderson sits in half guard. Anderson stops Bishop from getting back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Anderson escapes and gets back to his feet. Anderson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Anderson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bishop to his feet. Davis Anderson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Davis Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bishop fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Anderson avoids it really well and circles away. Bishop defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Anderson. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bishop tries to close the distance and clinch up but Anderson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jeremy Bishop has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Anderson feints and as Bishop raises his hands in defense, Anderson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Davis Anderson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Anderson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
