Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steve Krorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juanito Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Juanito Torres has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Steve Krorn's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Steve Krorn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juanito Torres! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Torres shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Krorn defends it nicely. Krorn works over Torres's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Juanito Torres has been cut. Krorn tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Krorn has taken the fight to the clinch.
Torres is trying to pull guard but Krorn turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Krorn has Torres pressed against the cage, preventing Torres from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Torres is fighting off a takedown attempt but Krorn is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Torres to the mat. Torres regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Krorn trying to control but Torres is working from the bottom. Torres is looking to stand up but Krorn isn't so interested in that idea. Torres really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Krorn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Krorn loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Krorn has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Torres is proving hard to escape from. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Torres wants to stand but Krorn is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Torres keeping full guard, as Krorn tries to pass. Krorn is working hard here to advance position. Torres working for submissions but it's allowed Krorn to get to half guard.
Krorn controlling the action here. Krorn is working for a submission of some sort.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krorn is looking to take a break and control but Torres is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Torres avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Krorn. Krorn scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Krorn decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Krorn clinches with his opponent.
Krorn manages to pull guard.
Krorn lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Torres!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krorn working for a guillotine from mount but Torres is in no mood to give up. Torres is desperately trying to improve his position but Krorn has a good base and remains in mount. Krorn content just to control the position here. Krorn working the ground and pound effectively.
Torres is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Krorn controlling his opponent. Krorn is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Torres can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Krorn tries to control but Torres wriggling away. Torres tries to hold on but Krorn postures up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Krorn looking to control and managing it successfully. Torres is in a horrible position here. Krorn smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Krorn dominated that round. The cut man is working on Juanito Torres's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Torres changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Krorn looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Krorn wants to control but Torres postures up. Krorn manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Krorn is positioning himself well to prevent Torres advancing to mount. Torres wants to take a breather but Krorn is having none of it. Torres might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Krorn kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Krorn wants to control but Torres is keeping busy.
Krorn is controlling Torres's trapped leg to prevent Torres from advancing to side control.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Krorn shoots in and bounces Torres off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Krorn trying to control the position from guard on top but Torres is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Torres is working an open guard so Krorn takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Torres changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Krorn tries to avoid it but Torres manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Krorn to the ground. Krorn escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Krorn shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Torres's guard. Krorn sitting in guard, not really doing much. Krorn advances to half guard. Torres avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Krorn.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krorn looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Krorn trying to control the action but Torres is working from the bottom. Krorn uses his free foot to push down on Torres's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Torres. Krorn looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Torres is looking to get to half guard. Torres is breathing heavily. Krorn controlling the position easily from mount. Krorn working the ground and pound effectively.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krorn prevents Torres from getting the reversal. Krorn is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Torres has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Torres can't escape the position.
Torres is squirming around, avoiding Krorn's attempts to control the action. Krorn looking to finish Torres with some ground and pound. This is bad for Torres!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Torres taking shots to the head. Torres is desperately trying to improve his position but Krorn has a good base and remains in mount. Krorn controlling the pace for now. Krorn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Krorn scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Torres is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Krorn loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Torres scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Krorn land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Krorn stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Steve Krorn!
