Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shinji Tainaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurisu Ikora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tainaka comes to the cage accompanied by Ugly Pray. Shinji Tainaka has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ikora fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Danga de danga de dang - Tainaka scores with a four punch combination!
Tainaka swings for the body but Ikora moves out of range.
Tainaka misses with a hook. Ikora ducked under it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ikora will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Tainaka swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Ikora shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tainaka as he jumps to the side.
Shinji Tainaka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kurisu Ikora.
Tainaka looks to land a left hand but Ikora moved out of range nicely.
Tainaka scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Nice sprawl there from Tainaka as Ikora shoots in.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ikora steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tainaka.
Tainaka misses with a body shot.
A combination from Tainaka does no damage.
Tainaka cracks Ikora with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Shinji Tainaka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tainaka drops Ikora with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Ikora! Tainaka dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (strikes). Shinji Tainaka!
