Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Yackey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yackey comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ante Up kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ryan.

Yackey is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ryan's half guard.
Yackey is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Ryan is breathing heavily.
Yackey lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Yackey gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Yackey drives through with a takedown into guard.

Yackey drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Yackey jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Ryan trying to keep a closed guard but Yackey is proving a slippery customer.
Yackey trying to control the position from guard on top but Ryan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Yackey not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Yackey drops back looking for a leg! Ryan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ryan manages to kick Yackey off! Yackey jumps back into Ryan's guard.

Ryan has momentary wrist control but Yackey slips an elbow through the middle.
Yackey trying to control the position from guard on top but Ryan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Yackey is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ryan is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ryan has escaped and now he's on top!

Yackey is looking to sinch up a triangle. Ryan throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Yackey's body to avoid the submission. Yackey has instead reached around Ryan's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Yackey arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
