Batusai kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Step Up. 7 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Andre Santos! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santos closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Santos lands in his opponent's guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Santos is looking to stand up but Batusai won't let him. Santos throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Batusai works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Santos throws a big elbow that misses. Batusai working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Santos. Santos postures up.
