Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ben Gott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georges St Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ben Gott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Georges St Pierre! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! St Pierre is looking to take this fight into the clinch. St Pierre slaps away a takedown attempt from Gott, before circling back to the center of the mat. Ben Gott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. St Pierre avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gott punishes St Pierre's body with a nice straight punch. St Pierre tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. St Pierre's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Gott connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! St Pierre scrambles back to his feet. St Pierre gets a takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. St Pierre sitting and controlling from the half guard. Gott kicks off St Pierre and gets to his feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from St Pierre. Gott showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from St Pierre.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gott lands a jab to St Pierre's midsection. A left and a right from Gott both land. Nice combination. St Pierre scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Gott is pushing St Pierre's head away, looking to escape. St Pierre manages to hold on to the position though. St Pierre controlling the position from side mount. Gott tries to strike from the bottom but misses. Gott tries to improve position but can't. St Pierre controlling from side mount. St Pierre decides to stand up, so the ref orders Gott to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gott throws a wild combination but nothing lands. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Horrible takedown by Gott or perhaps it was just good defense by St Pierre which made him look bad. Gott with a poor takedown and St Pierre counters with a shoot takedown. Gott fights it but they end up in guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Gott. That's going to take a lot out of him. St Pierre controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Gott wants to sweep but no luck. Gott is breathing heavily. Gott trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Gott keeping moving, preventing St Pierre from controlling successfully. Gott is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Gott might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. St Pierre working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gott keeping full guard, as St Pierre tries to pass. Gott throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

St Pierre is figuring out what he wants to do next. Gott is trying to stand up here but St Pierre is controlling him well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. St Pierre content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Gott looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Gott is trying to stand back up but St Pierre is controlling him
St Pierre slows the pace down in half guard. Gott wants to get back to full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. St Pierre wants to take a breather but Gott is having none of it. Gott is trying to defend against the ground and pound but St Pierre scores with a couple of nice shots. Gott is looking to control St Pierre's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Gott avoid being mounted? And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Georges St Pierre dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Gott fails with a takedown attempt. St Pierre fails with a takedown attempt. Gott shoots in looking for a takedown but St Pierre manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gott's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Gott gets caught napping as St Pierre dives in and scores a takedown. Gott manages to retain guard. Gott looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Gott is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst St Pierre is controlling him. St Pierre trying to control the position from guard on top but Gott is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gott pushes St Pierre off and gets back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. St Pierre closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gott circles away. Gott misses with a hook
and St Pierre counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. St Pierre is trying to control the action in half guard but Gott is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Gott trying to hold on to St Pierre's head to control him but St Pierre postures up.
St Pierre performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Gott is trying to stand up here but St Pierre is controlling him well. St Pierre is looking to take a break and control but Gott is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Georges St Pierre. Gott tries to score a power double leg takedown but St Pierre sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gott somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Gott. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gott shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has St Pierre pinned against the cage. St Pierre gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Gott lands a jab-cross combination. St Pierre looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gott is fending him off so far but St Pierre persists. Nope, Gott circles away and we're back to standing. Gott fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. St Pierre tries to sprawl but Gott drives through with a takedown into half guard. St Pierre is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Gott prevents St Pierre from improving his position. Georges St Pierre has got the better of the ground game so far. St Pierre is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gott pulls his head out easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. St Pierre tries to get to full guard but Gott has control of the leg. St Pierre looks like he's trying to stand up.
Gott is trying to work for a kimura but St Pierre is defending well.
Gott is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so St Pierre is just riding it out for now. Gott eventually gives up the hold.
That's four minutes gone in the round. St Pierre is trying to get back to full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gott seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but St Pierre does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Georges St Pierre will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Gott's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
St Pierre shoots in but Gott avoids the takedown attempt easily. Gott lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. St Pierre tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Gott scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. St Pierre is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Gott is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Gott working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. St Pierre is looking to get to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. St Pierre is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Gott avoids the attempt from St Pierre to control. St Pierre is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. St Pierre tries to improve his position but Gott has taken his back! Gott has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will St Pierre tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Gott pushes St Pierre away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
