Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Randy James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kervie Cababat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Randy James has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Randy James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kervie Cababat!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Cababat, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
James avoids the head kick by Cababat.

Cababat closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming James to the mat! James manages to get full guard.

James will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

James shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cababat sprawls well. Cababat wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. James gets slowly back to his feet.

James drops his hands momentarily and Cababat takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
James shoots in looking for a takedown. Cababat tries to sprawl out of it but James keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cababat manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Cababat lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
James walks into a jab.

Cababat throws a nice looking combination but James bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Cababat's corner calls for a 1-2. Cababat obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Cababat fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with James, pushing him back against the cage.

Cababat has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Cababat jumps guard and drags James to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

James really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

James is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
James won't allow Cababat to get back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

James decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Cababat, up you get!

James changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Cababat fights it off and pushes away nicely.

James changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cababat tries to avoid it but James manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cababat to the ground. Cababat escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kervie Cababat comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Cababat has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
