Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Victor Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaisuke Nakasone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cruz comes to the cage accompanied by Deadmau5 - Ghosts and Stuff. Nakasone has chosen Limp Bizkit- Break stuff as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakasone looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Nakasone seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cruz does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Nakasone drops back looking for a leg! Cruz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cruz manages to kick Nakasone off! Nakasone jumps back into Cruz's guard.

A very excited looking Kaisuke Nakasone rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
