Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Victor Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaisuke Nakasone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cruz comes to the cage accompanied by Deadmau5 - Ghosts and Stuff. Nakasone has chosen Limp Bizkit- Break stuff as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Victor Cruz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Kaisuke Nakasone! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakasone looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Nakasone seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cruz does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Cruz is trying to stand.
Nakasone slows the pace down in half guard. Cruz is looking to escape. Nakasone is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Nakasone wants to finish this one by submission but Cruz is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Nakasone. Nakasone prevents Cruz from getting the reversal. Nakasone trying to control but Cruz is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

But Cruz has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Cruz! Nakasone avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Cruz got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nakasone has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cruz has managed to get both his arms back between Nakasone's legs - danger averted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cruz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cruz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Nakasone is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cruz is aware though and is defending well. Nakasone working for a triangle but Cruz defends it easily.
This has been an exciting period of action! Cruz looking to pass the guard. Cruz avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Nakasone can't keep his opponent in guard - Cruz advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Cruz is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Nakasone sees it coming and defends easily. Cruz wants to stand but Nakasone has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nakasone tries to get to full guard but Cruz has control of the leg. Cruz is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Nakasone is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Cruz wants to pass the guard but Nakasone is keeping the position. Nakasone is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cruz is aware though and is defending well. Cruz stands and throws Nakasone's legs to the side, diving into side control. Cruz is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nakasone is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Cruz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cruz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cruz tries for a kimura but Nakasone is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kaisuke Nakasone dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Nakasone might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Cruz kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Nakasone drops back looking for a leg! Cruz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cruz manages to kick Nakasone off! Nakasone jumps back into Cruz's guard. Nakasone looking to sit in guard and control but Cruz gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Cruz pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nakasone is keeping the position for now.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Kaisuke Nakasone! A very excited looking Kaisuke Nakasone rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
