Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bear Tears! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wolf West! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Eliza Hachem and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tears gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily so West counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Tears working a defensive guard here.
West sitting in guard, not really doing much. Tears trying to keep a closed guard but West is proving a slippery customer.
Bear Tears has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Tears throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. West smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. West gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Tears tries to throw a body punch but West avoids it by throwing Tears back against the cage. Tears is trying to pull guard but West turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. West lands a shot to the body. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Tears is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but West is defending well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bear Tears. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tears wants to get back to striking at distance but West won't allow it.

West breaks the clinch.
West closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! West looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. West seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Tears is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. West is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Tears is hurt! He's hurt bad - West fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Tears from any more punishment! Congratulations to West! Great finish!
