Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Neil Hill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brett Summers! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hill moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Summers lands with a kick to the temple. Hill shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Neil Hill has been cut. Summers misses with a head kick.
Summers tries to clinch there but Hill circles away.
Hill gets a clinch. Hill tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Summers's elbow. Hill breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Summers tries to clinch but Hill moves out of range. Hill avoids the head kick by Summers.
Hill keeps the fight on the outside. Hill slips under a jab. Hill gets in close and instigates a clinch. Summers keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hill's efforts to push away. Summers wants to break free but Hill has control.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Summers lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Hill backwards.

Summers pushes Hill back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Summers as Hill tries to tie him up. Hill stalling against the ropes.
Hill's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Summers tries to clinch up and Hill counters by moving into the clinch. Hill takes an elbow to the forehead. Hill avoids the elbow strike from Summers, against the ropes.

Hill throws a body kick that misses. Summers tries to clinch but Hill is having none of it. Hill tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Summers was well out of range. Poor timing from Hill. Summers fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Hill wants to clinch up but Summers keeps it at a distance. Hill is looking to clinch. Summers swats away the attempt to clinch by Hill. Summers keeps the fight on the outside. Summers tries to close the distance and clinch but Hill swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hill fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Summers manages to avoid it. Brett Summers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hill tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Summers paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hill misses with a kick to the body and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Hill is breathing heavily. Summers is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Summers thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Hill if he has to take too many more of those.

Brett Summers is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Summers with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Summers connects with a leg kick. Hill looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Summers delivers a nice body kick. A head kick misses from Summers. Summers misses with a head kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Summers looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Summers tries to clinch but Hill moves out of range. A head kick from Summers lands but Hill takes it in his stride. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Summers tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Hill paws at him with a jab and circles away. A good leg kick by Summers.

Summers throws a nice outside leg kick. Summers scores with a push kick. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Summers.
Summers wants to clinch. Summers is looking to clinch but Hill is avoiding it.
Summers tries to close the distance and clinch but Hill swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Summers darts in and clinches Hill up against the ropes. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Summers throws an elbow but it misses.

Summers creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Hill's defenses. A short left from Summers. Hill tries to land knees in the clinch but Summers avoids the damage to the body. Hill can't break the clinch.

Neil Hill's cut is getting worse. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A nice glancing elbow lands by Summers.

Jeez, Neil Hill's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Summers lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
