The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James punishes Filipovic's body with a nice straight punch.
James throws a right and a left that both miss.
Filipovic avoids the head kick by James.
Filipovic just misses with a punch to the body.
Filipovic throws a jab but it's blocked by James.
James clinches up against the cage.
Filipovic throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but James blocks it with crossed arms.
Filipovic lands a knee to the head.

James tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Filipovic just stands there and leans against the cage.

James drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

James throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Filipovic's waist but Filipovic gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing James off to one side.

and James counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by James.
Filipovic escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. James gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

James fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
James is breathing heavily.
James shoots in for a double leg but Filipovic sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

That was a close round but I would say that Scott James will probably get the nod.

James closes the distance but Filipovic moves to the side
and Filipovic counters with a takedown into side control.
Filipovic tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Filipovic has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Kirill Filipovic comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Filipovic has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
