Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tom Wright!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dominik Young!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright lands with a nice combination. Young backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Dominik Young has been cut.
Tom Wright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Young moves out of range of the body kick.
Wright throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A combination from Wright does no damage.
Young ducks right into an uppercut from Wright.
Young looks for a takedown but Wright sprawls well.
Wright throws a series of punches but Young moves out of range.
Young looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wright looks for the body kick but Young saw that one coming.
Wright throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Young.
Wright throws a hook but Young avoids it easily.
Young moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Wright lands a jab to the head.
Young fails with a takedown attempt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wright. Young does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Young takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Wright throws out a powerful jab.
Wright connects with a body shot.
Tom Wright is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Horrible takedown by Young or perhaps it was just good defense by Wright which made him look bad.
Tom Wright has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dominik Young.
Young takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Wright bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Young's head backwards.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wright tries to land a front kick but Young steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Wright knocks Young out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
