Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brock Wrestler!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Wrestler counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Silva!

and Wrestler counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Silva's guard now.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Wrestler clinches up with Silva and pushes him back against the cage.

Silva is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Wrestler to keep the fight standing.

Wrestler fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Silva to the ground. Wrestler is now in Silva's guard.
Wrestler's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Wrestler really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Silva has Wrestler pulled in close to control his posture.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Felipe Silva.
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wrestler tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wrestler to the ground. Wrestler escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Wrestler counters with a shoot takedown. Silva fights it but they end up in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Silva is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Brock Wrestler decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
