Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
26 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ghoul Ghotha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

21 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Boris Kharitonov!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Emerson Jorge and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kharitonov tries to close the distance and clinch but Ghotha swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ghotha throws a lazy body kick
letting Kharitonov counter with a right hand.
Ghotha has a takedown stuffed.
Ghotha changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kharitonov tries to avoid it but Ghotha manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kharitonov to the ground. Kharitonov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kharitonov tries a head kick but it misses.
Ghotha tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kharitonov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ghotha somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ghoul Ghotha. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ghotha throws a sloppy head kick
and Ghotha takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ghotha slips a jab from Kharitonov.
Kharitonov lands a body shot.
Ghotha throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ghotha shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kharitonov moves into range and clinches up with Ghotha.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kharitonov lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Kharitonov lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ghotha backwards.
Kharitonov lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Ghotha blocking some punches.
Ghotha has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kharitonov avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Kharitonov misses with a punch to the body.
Ghotha tries to score a body lock takedown but Kharitonov shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Kharitonov tries to throw a body punch but Ghotha avoids it by throwing Kharitonov back against the cage.
Kharitonov is working Ghotha over against the cage.
Ghotha is trying to drag Kharitonov to the mat but Kharitonov just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Ghotha is breathing heavily.

Kharitonov lands an uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kharitonov scores with a shoulder strike.
A right hook to the body lands for Kharitonov.
Kharitonov lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Kharitonov works on Ghotha's body with a couple of short punches.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kharitonov creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Kharitonov drops Ghotha onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Ghotha is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Ghotha is rocked!
Kharitonov unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Ghotha! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Kharitonov is unloading with more strikes now! Ghotha drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Boris Kharitonov!
