Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jordan House! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul Sakamoto! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Felipe Paraventi and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sakamoto connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between House's hands. House throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sakamoto. Sakamoto forces House back against the cage and clinches. House is struggling to control the position. Sakamoto tries to work over House's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Sakamoto lands a nice uppercut. House throws a punch but it's blocked by Sakamoto. House misses with a hook to the ribs.
House lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. A right handed body shot lands from House.
A head punch on the inside from Sakamoto fails to land. House throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. House tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. House tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Sakamoto misses with a punch to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sakamoto being controlled against the cage. House lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Sakamoto or not. House misses with a punch to the body.
Sakamoto breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jordan House seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sakamoto avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sakamoto cracks House with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
It looks like Jordan House has been cut. House lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Paul Sakamoto has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! House throws a series of punches but Sakamoto moves out of range. Sakamoto connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. House lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sakamoto circles away quickly and effectively. Sakamoto throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

A punch combination from House misses. House rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sakamoto moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Sakamoto misses with a double jab.
Sakamoto lands a nice hook to House's body. House takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Sakamoto swinging wildly here.
Sakamoto scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. House throws a right hand that Sakamoto ducks under and follows up with a left that Sakamoto also avoids with ease. House walks straight into a right hand from Sakamoto - that's dropped him! Sakamoto jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save House from any more punishment! House complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
